Miami, October 28th / PRNewswire / — Tokenization asset platforms Securitize, Inc. ( NYSE : SECZ ) today announced plans to integrate with the Stellar network in order to expand the blockchain infrastructure options for institutional asset managers seeking to bring traditional financial products onto the blockchain.
This integration will enable Securitize to support the issuance and management of tokenized financial assets on the Stellar network. The Stellar network is a blockchain network designed specifically for efficient financial transactions and asset transfers. This announcement was made during the Stellar Development Foundation Annual Conference Meridian 2026 held in Lisbon, Portugal.
The company stated that the integration outlined in this plan reflects Securitize's ongoing commitment to providing flexible blockchain infrastructure for institutional asset managers, while also maintaining the regulatory and operational standards required by traditional financial products.
"The Stellar network has established the fourth-largest tokenized real-world assets ecosystem in the world, which reflects its network strength as well as the growing demand from institutions for tokenization," said Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize. "We are delighted to integrate with the Stellar network and bring Securitize's regulated infrastructure into an ecosystem that is already driving the adoption of tokenized financial products."
Stellar has established a mature ecosystem for tokenizing financial assets, with network capabilities that support asset issuance, rapid settlement, and features tailored for regulated use cases. This integration is aimed at expanding the range of blockchain networks that Securitize can support as institutions continue to adopt tokenization.
“Securitize has helped to establish tokenization as a viable solution for large financial institutions,” said Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director of Stellar Development Foundation. “We are delighted to collaborate in expanding the infrastructure available to asset managers and to support the next generation of tokenized financial products on Stellar.”
Securitize collaborates with globally leading asset managers to tokenize traditional financial products, leveraging their regulated financial infrastructure and tokenization technology. The integration of the Stellar network as part of this plan further expands the company's multi-chain strategy, providing institutional partners with greater flexibility in choosing blockchain networks that meet their operational and distribution needs.
More details regarding the assets supported by this integration will be announced once available.
