Cancore is a platform built on Canton Network, dedicated to connecting tokenized assets with public blockchain liquidity. The company announced the completion of a $7.2 million seed financing round, with investors including Paper Ventures, dao5, ArkStream Capital, X Ventures, MH Ventures, and Proof of Talk.
Since April 2026, this platform has been operating on the Canton mainnet, while also serving as a validator for Featured App.
According to Cancore, as of October 1st, the platform has processed a total transaction volume of over 53.2 million US dollars, with more than 84,000 transactions, and generated over 538,000 US dollars in protocol revenue.
Cancore is developing a set of infrastructure aimed at connecting the native assets of Canton (including tokenized real-world assets (RWA)) with liquidity on public blockchain networks.
The company describes its approach as a “liquidity operating system for tokenized finance ( Liquidity OS for Tokenized Finance )”, with the goal of supporting the execution and trading of tokenized financial assets across different blockchain ecosystems.
ArkStream General Partner Ye Su indicates:“Canton has established a strong institutional foundation, and the next step is to open up to a broader market liquidity. Cancore has adopted a pragmatic approach, with real trading volume and revenue from day one. We are delighted to support a team that focuses on actual use rather than speculation.”
Cancore uses atomic settlement to execute transactions between Canton and the public blockchain networks it supports.
The company stated that such transactions are either completed in their entirety or fail without any partial execution.
Users retain control over their private keys through Cancore's self-hosted wallets, while the exchange mechanism is designed to either complete settlements on two networks or provide refunds.
The platform also supports automated execution through a model context protocol (MCP) server, allowing users to automatically perform platform operations and delegate tasks to the (AI) system.
Cancore plans to further expand these capabilities, enabling users to build and deploy their own trading agents to execute strategies, rebalance portfolios, manage capital, and interact with liquidity.
In addition to advancing proxy trading infrastructure, Cancore also plans to add more real-world assets ( RWA ) and liquidity to Canton.
Cancore, Co-Founder and CEO, stated that: Wasif RashidTokenization is bringing more and more financial assets onto the blockchain, but the next step is to make these assets programmable. The future we envision is one where users can deploy capital between tokenized assets and use agents to execute strategies and manage positions on their behalf.
The broader goal is to enable trading agents to interact with Canton native assets, tokenized real-world assets, and public chain liquidity through a single execution layer.
Cancore will utilize this $7.2 million in seed funding to expand into more blockchain networks and sources of liquidity, while continuing to develop its proxy trading, security, and settlement infrastructure.
Paper Ventures General Partner Danish Chaudhry Indicates:In traditional markets, a large amount of value is concentrated in the infrastructure that facilitates the cross-location flow of capital: clearing, settlement, and principal brokerage services. Tokenized markets will also require a similar layer, yet between Canton and public blockchains, this layer practically non-existent today. Cancore is building it according to the security standards expected by institutions, and we believe that this team has the right capabilities to define how tokenized capital can flow across networks.
This expansion will be built upon its existing connectivity capabilities. Currently, Cancore already covers Canton, networks compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), as well as Tron.
