The newly introduced director panel, 30-second generation capability, and support for up to 50 reference materials integrate more film production processes into a single AI production environment.
San Francisco, October 28, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Higgsfield is an integrated professional video and image production platform, now launching Cinema Studio 4.0, which integrates camera movement, character performance, and longer-duration video production into the same workflow.
Cinema Studio 4.0 has now been launched on higgsfield.ai. It serves as a workspace for Higgsfield for AI film production, allowing for the setting of shots, lens focal lengths, lighting, rhythm, and character performances before generation. It can generate multi-shot scenes of up to 30 seconds based on a maximum of 50 reference materials, whereas the previous version 3.5 only supported 15-second segments with 9 reference materials.

Creators can shape the scene before generation, continue a particular shot without interrupting the entire sequence, or make modifications to a specific detail without having to regenerate the entire video.
Higgsfield Content Owner Adil Alimzhanov states: "Most AI video tools simply receive a keyword and then return a clip. Cinema Studio is more like a film studio. Film producers can choose AI actors, shots, and lens focal lengths, arrange scene lighting, adjust colors, and add sound, then extend the shot or refine a detail without having to start over. Since everything is done in the same environment, film producers can maintain consistency in the imagery and characters from the first to the last frame, and the final product can directly proceed to other processes in Higgsfield."
What new features does Higgsfield Cinema Studio 4.0 have?
The director panel of Cinema Studio 4.0 incorporates many decisions made by film producers before and during filming into the generation process.
Creators can choose from seven different types to set the historical context between the 1960s and the 2020s, and they can also adjust the editing pace, ranging from single shots to fast, chaotic sequences. The camera options include modern digital cameras, DV cameras, 35mm film, and 8mm film. As for the camera styles, there is a wide range to choose from, ranging from sharp and clear to distorted wide-screen effects and vintage looks.
The color palette has also been expanded from 8 presets in version 3.5 to over 50. Lighting settings are no longer limited to presets; creators can now customize colors, brightness, diffusion, and angles. New camera movements include subjective perspective, robotic arm perspective, and helicopter perspective, providing more ways to shape scenes.
There are also dedicated controls for character performances. Emotion Wheel allows creators to guide the character's performance, adjusting facial expressions and body language to emotions such as joy, anger, fear, and trust.
The extended reference system addresses a common practical issue: how to maintain consistency in characters, products, or visual styles within a sequence. Now, up to 50 reference materials can be generated at a time, including uploaded images and videos, as well as characters from Higgsfield Soul Cast. Elements created in the earlier Cinema Studio version can also be used as reference materials.
It's possible to continue moving the scene forward without starting from the beginning.
Cinema Studio Version 4.0 also adds tools for continuing to process materials after the initial generation.
Forward / Backward Extend Allows creators to continue extending after the end of an already uploaded video, or to add introductory content before the beginning. Edit Video Supports targeted modifications to parts of a clip, such as a particular object or a face, without having to regenerate the entire video.
The maximum length for uploaded videos is 30 seconds. The native audio generation feature allows for the addition of dialogue, sound effects, and background music while creating the video.
When these capabilities are combined, creators do not have to restart the entire process when developing a sequence, adjusting a performance, or making minor corrections.
For movies, TV series, and commercial productions
Cinema Studio is aimed at AI film producers, short-video and series creators, studios, agencies, and brands, and is suitable for the production of content such as advertisements, music videos, and narrative films. It is also the production environment used behind Higgsfield Originals, which is the platform used by the company for AI films and series.
Content Protection
Cinema Studio will perform real-face and protected intellectual property screening on each generation. If a generation is marked, the system will prevent its output and display a prompt to the creator stating that it may contain protected content.
One process that runs through from beginning to end.
Cinema Studio can be used as an independent production tool, or as part of a larger workflow known as Higgsfield Supercomputer. The latter is the company's proxy-based workspace. Creators can manually set each parameter within Cinema Studio, or they can describe their projects in natural language, allowing Supercomputer to plan the process, sending each step to the appropriate workspace (including Cinema Studio), and integrating the results within a single chat interface. For product and marketing creativity, Marketing Studio provides another template-based workflow for advertising, UGC, product images, platform materials, posters, and dynamic content.
Launch Status
Cinema Studio 4.0 is now live on higgsfield.ai, and this version is used by default when accessing Cinema Studio. Model access permissions depend on the subscription plan, and generated content is billed based on points. The cost depends on resolution, clip duration, and the underlying models used; the specific point cost will be displayed before generation. When enabling native audio and using a 16:9 aspect ratio, the cost for a 10-second 720p clip is 70 points, and for a complete 30-second 1080p clip it is 480 points; if the current temporary 1080p discount is applied, it costs 360 points. In case of generation failure due to technical reasons, the points will be automatically refunded. The generation cost for Cinema Studio is billed separately from the unlimited model access permissions included in the Higgsfield package.
