New York, November 2, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Broadridge ( NYSE : BR ) announced today that it plans to provide on-chain shareholder governance and digital transfer agency services for the tokenized securities platform of the New York Stock Exchange ( NYSE ). The platform is scheduled to be launched after obtaining regulatory approval.

Broadridge CEO Tim Gokey stated: "We are building a governance layer for tokenized stocks to ensure that investors can receive reliable, institutional-level governance services. We are delighted to bring these capabilities to the New York Stock Exchange's tokenized securities platform. By integrating digital and traditional transfer agency services as well as proxy voting capabilities into one solution, we make it easier for issuers to participate, regardless of how the stocks are traded or held."
The New York Stock Exchange will adopt a governance smart contract based on Broadridge to link tokenized securities with the agenda of shareholder meetings, voting rules, and verifiable results. This framework supports the distribution of proxy materials, as well as digital wallet authentication linked to verified voting rights, helping investors exercise their shareholder rights as ownership is transferred onto the blockchain. Depending on their preferences, investors can participate in the on-chain governance services of Broadridge through supported wallets, brokerage interfaces, or ProxyVote.
NYSE Group President Lynn Martin stated: "Tokenization has the potential to change the way issuers interact with shareholders. By introducing the digital transfer agency services of Broadridge, we combine trust with innovation; our collaboration with the New York Stock Exchange also advances our goal of connecting tokenized transactions, settlement, and shareholder governance within a more unified ecosystem."
Broadridge The integration of digital transfer agency services has expanded the connectivity between the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) platform and these services, providing issuers with more options regarding how to list their stocks on the blockchain. Broadridge It indicates that these services will enable issuers listed on the NYSE to tokenize their stocks and trade them on the NYSE's tokenized securities platform, thus linking issuer services with digital trading infrastructure.
The collaboration with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by Broadridge combines stock tokenization, proxy transfer services, shareholder communication, proxy voting, and digital identity capabilities, linking the ownership of tokenized stocks to the infrastructure that supports the governance of listed companies.
