New York, November 5th / PRNewswire / -- Kyndryl (New York Stock Exchange ticker: KD) today announced the launch of an integrated proxy-based modernization solution in collaboration with Amazon Web Services ( AWS ). This solution combines Kyndryl Agentic Modernization services-as-software with AWS Transform to help customers rapidly modernize their applications, reduce transformation risks, and establish a technology foundation geared towards AI.

This solution combines the services-as-software capabilities of Kyndryl, the AI driven workflow, and professional engineering skills with AWS Transform to help enterprises assess, plan, and execute modernization projects on a large scale. This approach also enables customers to modernize their applications, infrastructure, and core systems more quickly, while improving consistency and reducing transformation risks.

"Many organizations still view modernization as a one-time event, when it should be a continuous process of business capability improvement," said Shawn D, the global head of modernization at Kyndryl. "Organizations that are able to continuously modernize their applications, infrastructure, and core systems will be better equipped to adopt AI, adapt to changes, and create long-term value. In collaboration with AWS, we are helping customers build this capability on a large scale."

According to the first global modernization report from Kyndryl, nearly 50% of respondents indicated that they are falling behind in achieving their modernization goals. Early adopters who have deployed proxy AI in their production environments have shown more significant progress, with 67% stating that they are ahead of schedule or progressing as planned, whereas for other organizations, this proportion is 51%.

Through this solution, Kyndryl enables joint customers to:

  • Accelerate the advancement of modernization projects by establishing methods for continuously modernizing applications, infrastructure, and core systems.
  • Build a resilient architecture that is oriented towards AI.
  • Reduce technical debt while improving operational efficiency.

The services-as-software capability of Kyndryl is an emerging model that delivers services through software-driven automation, intelligence, and scalable digital workflows. This capability is built upon Kyndryl Agentic Framework and extended through Kyndryl Bridge. It enables the execution of complex modernization projects in significantly less time and at a much lower cost by utilizing scaled, preset proxy-based workflows, thereby removing professional skills as a major limitation.

Customers can leverage the expertise of Kyndryl in cloud, security, compliance, FinOps, and critical mission technology operations. This expertise helps enterprises to more confidently advance their modernization efforts while maintaining governance, resilience, and business continuity.

As a publishing partner of AWS Transform, Kyndryl has collaborated with AWS to help customers move beyond the project-based modernization model and establish an scalable and repeatable approach to continuously evolve their technical environment.

Goldman Sachs says the results of the U.S. midterms are a "blue tsunami" that could have a significant impact on artificial intelligence and data center regulation. Strategists suggest that Democrats may seek policy concessions amid the approaching fiscal deadline, including limiting the Iran war, repealing some tariffs, and reversing recent spending cuts; at the same time, Democratic victories at the state and local levels could also have a negative impact on some U.S. utility companies and independent power producers.
