Beijing, November 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A report in China Daily stated:

The four-day 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit concluded on Thursday. Outside of Wuzhen, a profound transformation driven by artificial intelligence is taking place in the workshops, laboratories, and daily lives of Zhejiang. Building on years of continuous efforts to develop "Digital Zhejiang," the province is aiming to become a hub for artificial intelligence innovation.

In the first eight months of this year, enterprises in Zhejiang's core artificial intelligence industry with annual revenues over a certain threshold achieved a total revenue of 582.87 billion yuan (87.2 billion US dollars), a year-on-year increase of 26.9%. The number of enterprises in this core industry has increased to 2,112, forming a complete industrial chain layout that covers chips, large models, intelligent agents, and application services.

Computing power is one of the key infrastructure pillars for the development of artificial intelligence in Zhejiang. In a sock factory workshop in Zhuji, designers can generate 20 original patterns within 3 minutes. In Yiwu, merchants rely on an artificial intelligence computing platform to create high-definition product images and marketing videos with just one click.

What supports these artificial intelligence application scenarios is the province-wide integrated computing power network built by China Mobile Zhejiang Company.

As of the end of September, Zhejiang's total computing power reached 197 EFLOPS ( ExaFLOPS, which is one quintillion floating-point operations per second, a unit used to measure computing performance), ranking among the top in the country. Among them, 54 enterprises and institutions in the province received national computing power vouchers, with a total amount of 408 million yuan, accounting for 37% of the national total.

Qiu Xiaoyuan, a person in charge of China Mobile Zhejiang Company, said: "With the operation of the Hangzhou and Jiashan intelligent computing centers, Zhejiang can achieve millisecond-level computing power access, integrated scheduling of computing and networking, and one-stop security guarantees."

Large models are another key factor. As Tongyi Qianwen and the DeepSeek large models continue to iterate, Zhejiang's model ecosystem is aiming to take a leading position.

In Zhejiang Province's 2026 government work report, Zhejiang aims to take a leading position in the development of artificial intelligence and strives to build a high-quality open-source ecosystem. Open-source has been listed as one of the core strategies for Zhejiang's artificial intelligence development.

Moda Community ( ModelScope ), located in Xihu District, Hangzhou, is one of the largest open-source communities for artificial intelligence in China. Online, this community brings together over 29 million artificial intelligence developers and more than 200,000 models from around the world, lowering the barriers to innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.

Chen Tianrun, born in the 2000s, is a doctoral student at Zhejiang University and also the founder of MoXin Technology. The company has independently developed MoWorld – a real-time interactive world model built entirely on domestically produced neural processors. A neural processor ( NPU ) is a type of computer microprocessor specifically designed to simulate the processing functions of the human brain.

Chen Tianrun said, "The relationship between AI and people is not about AI replacing people, but rather about AI doing more things together with people to enhance productivity."

With the support of new types of production factors such as computing power, models, and data, Zhejiang is breaking through the constraints of natural resources and becoming a benchmark for innovation.

During the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, the Zhejiang Provincial Government organized a series of major events that brought interactive experiences and numerous highlights.

On Monday, at the "Light of the Internet" exhibition, a landmark event of the Wuzhen Summit, more than 30 embodied intelligent robots from companies such as Zhiyuan Robotics, UBTECH, Yushu Technology, and Zhongke Fifth Epoch led visitors into a world of perceptual intelligence.

Among them, the world's first bipedal humanoid robot capable of playing badminton independently with humans became the focus of the entire event. This robot also possesses table tennis skills; the faster the ball speed, the quicker its reaction.

The "Direct Access to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition is also another highlight of the Wuzhen Summit. Since the registration began in June, it has attracted 1,347 projects and one-person companies from 31 countries and regions to participate.

The Digital Economy Industry Cooperation Conference held on Wednesday is a landmark event of the permanent venue for the Wuzhen Summit. Over the past three years, the amount of digital economy industry projects signed each year at this event has exceeded 100 billion yuan.

Why Did Ethereum Prices Fall on November 6?
Ethereum fell by more than 8% in the past 24 hours, dropping to around $2,200. The reasons include weakness in U.S. tech stocks, an increase in cryptocurrency liquidations, and a re-emergence of net outflows for spot ETH ETF. CoinGlass data shows that the total amount liquidated from Ethereum in 24 hours exceeded $210 million, of which $179 million came from leveraged long positions; SoSoValue data indicates that U.S. spot Ethereum ETF experienced nearly $100 million in net outflows on November 5th.
