Inspired by Gen Z, UO celebrates this season with the most sought-after gifts, festive fashion, and community experiences, and has collaborated with DoorDash to launch a festive celebration event.

Philadelphia, November 6th / PRNewswire / -- Urban Outfitters This season, we are launching the " All Together Now : More the Merrier " holiday event, inviting everyone to join in the fun. This is a multi-channel marketing campaign that focuses on personal style and shared experiences, highlighting the special spirit of the holidays. The event continues the brand's All Together Now platform, celebrating the joy of gathering and capturing the excitement of this season, from getting ready to go out, choosing the perfect outfit, to meeting with friends and celebrating together.

At the core of this event is UO's understanding of how Gen Z live, shop, and celebrate. Insights from UO Insiders show that the brand community comprises over 10,000 Gen Z shoppers, students, and opinion leaders, among whom 85% of Gen Z shoppers buy gifts for themselves during the holiday season, purchasing an average of 7 to 8 items. In addition to "self-reward," 78% of Gen Z prefer to shop with others, highlighting the importance this generation places on community and shared experiences.

Urban Outfitters President Shea Jensen states: "At Urban Outfitters, everything begins with understanding our customers. More the Merrier brings together their favorite products, brands, and experiences, and helps everyone discover in new ways to make the holiday season even more memorable."

The event kicked off on November 5th at a private launch party held in Los Angeles, bringing together members of the active community including Meet Me @ UO Joshua Tree, participants from the event, All Together Now who appeared in the commercials, and Game Day student ambassadors. Focusing on connection, creativity, and community, the event featured festive interactive segments such as white elephant gift exchanges and custom workstations. There was also a surprise performance by Grammy-nominated artist DESTIN CONRAD with UO Live. The party was co-organized by DoorDash and continued UO's strategy of making temporary gifts and essential items for going out more readily available through on-demand delivery.

In addition to Los Angeles, UO also extends the festive family party atmosphere through digital channels and physical stores, utilizing doorbell-inspired creativity, holiday-themed edited videos, and a dedicated gift shop. The content filmed for these events is also shared on social media and digital platforms, with some video segments to be broadcast on connected television platforms such as Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, and Peacock (CTV).

Both physical stores and the online platform UO Holiday Gift Shop offer a selection of exclusive collections and seasonal essentials, covering clothing, footwear, beauty products, and home goods. The new thematic areas Analog Gifting, Scent Shop, and Cozy Shop are designed to cater to the constantly changing shopping habits and interests of consumers, presenting the most sought-after gifts of the season.

With gift-giving at the heart of the holiday season, UO continues to prioritize the community through the three-month Giving Season program, which runs from November to January. In addition to ongoing brand donations, customers can also donate at checkout to support six long-term non-profit partners of UO: Altadena Girls, Active Minds, Creatives Want Change, Glisten, Rock, to, the, Future, and Asian Arts Initiative.
