Neocloud Corporation CoreWeave ( CRWV ) will release its third-quarter financial report on Tuesday, November 10th. Due to concerns in the market that the company has incurred high debts for building artificial intelligence infrastructure, the CRWV stock price has fallen by more than 49% over the past month. In addition, fears that data center construction may slow down after the Democrats won the mid-term elections have also increased pressure on investors.

Wall Street expects that CoreWeave will report a loss of $0.08 per share this quarter, which represents an improvement over the same period last year. Revenues are expected to soar by 160% year-on-year, reaching $3.54 billion.

Before the release of the third-quarter financial report, analysts held a cautiously optimistic attitude towards CRWV stock overall. Considering the significant pullback in stock prices, the average target price on Wall Street indicates that there is still considerable room for upward movement from the current level. Meanwhile, Cathie Wood purchased stocks worth approximately $18 million on Thursday.

Option traders are betting that the stock price of CoreWeave may experience a two-way fluctuation of 21.1% after its third-quarter financial report in 2026. The implied volatility of the options reflects the expected range of stock price movement after the report, rather than predicting whether it will rise or fall. The average absolute fluctuation of the stock price after the past four financial reports of CoreWeave was 16.38%, and this time's implied volatility is higher than this average level.

Investors will closely monitor the management's statements regarding the demand environment and prospects, debt levels, and financing plans. Any unfavorable updates, or revenue and profit figures that fall short of expectations, could dampen market sentiment.

Analysts' Views Before the Third Quarter Financial Reports

Entering the third-quarter financial reporting season, Citibank analyst Tyler Radke reiterated his "buy" rating on CoreWeave's stock, but lowered the target price from $159 to $128 to reflect the decline in valuation multiples. The analyst expects that the performance of CoreWeave and its peer neocloud Nebius ( NBIS ) will reflect a "continuously strong and in-demand environment," accompanied by solid pricing and profit margins. Radke added that investors will continue to pay attention to financing issues. He expects these two companies to provide more details regarding their medium-term financing needs and efforts to reduce capital intensity.

Based on his communications with management during the quarter, Radke pointed out that demand remains strong. Similar to the high costs of memory and GPU, this analyst expects that higher capital costs will be passed on to customers through higher computing power prices. Radke has raised its revenue forecasts for 2027 to 2030 by 12% and its interest expense projections by 22%, while basically maintaining its earnings per share forecasts unchanged.

Similarly, UBS analyst Karl Keirstead reiterated a "buy" rating on CoreWeave stock and lowered the target price from $120 to $105. This five-star analyst mentioned that the price of CoreWeave stock has fallen significantly, stating that investors' confidence in a broader range of neocloud AI infrastructure stocks has markedly weakened.

Keirstead added that the stock prices of Microsoft (MSFT) and Amazon (AMZN) are relatively more resilient, reflecting that investors have taken a more defensive stance regarding their exposure to AI infrastructure. He generally agrees with this change as well. The analyst warned that restoring investor confidence may be a "repair process that will take several quarters to complete," but he remains bullish.

CoreWeave Is it worth buying stocks now?

Before the release of the third-quarter financial report for 2026, based on 21 buy ratings, 5 hold ratings, and 3 sell ratings, Wall Street's consensus rating for CoreWeave stock was "moderate buy." The average target price for CRWV stock is $128.83, which indicates a potential upside of about 178% from the current level.

US Stock Market Meltdown | Over $4 Trillion Evaporated in One Week, When Will the Panic in Data Centers End?
Wall Street once again experienced a turbulent week, with the total market value of the three major U.S. stock indices evaporating by approximately $4.1 trillion. The market is concerned that after the mid-term elections in the United States, if Democrats control both the Senate and the House of Representatives, they may tighten AI industry regulation and slow down the approval process for data center construction. At the same time, the stronger-than-expected October non-farm payroll data has raised expectations for the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in December.

Microsoft is reportedly gradually withdrawing from Oracle's AI cloud computing power protocol and re-evaluating the procurement of external computing power.
According to Bloomberg, Microsoft has begun to gradually shut down some computing resources previously rented from Oracle over the past few months and has decided not to renew the relevant contracts. One of the reasons is that some of the servers provided by Oracle are equipped with older generations of NVIDIA chips, which no longer meet Microsoft's technical specifications. At the same time, Microsoft is also strengthening its review of "new cloud" supplier projects such as Nebius, IREN, and Nscale, reflecting its re-evaluation of its strategy of relying heavily on external computing power leasing.
