According to CoinMeta, the Singapore exchange has been authorized by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to allow U.S. institutional investors to trade perpetual futures on Bitcoin and Ethereum. The head of crypto derivatives at this exchange stated that this authorization connects traditional U.S. financial trading institutions with Asian liquidity pools. Permanent futures for Bitcoin and Ethereum are expected to be launched in November 2025. As of August, the cumulative trading volume has reached $5.8 billion, and it is anticipated that services for U.S. customers will begin in the next 1 to 2 months, with stablecoins not being accepted as collateral.
