Darkfost: Binance Bitcoin reserves increase to over 693,000 coins
2026-09-11 14:58:27
According to CoinMeta, as monitored by Darkfost, the Bitcoin reserves of Binance have increased to over 693,000 coins, accounting for approximately 30% of the total Bitcoin reserves of major exchanges. This increase of 77,000 coins since the end of April may be related to investors transferring Bitcoin to exchanges for sale following the upward trend in May and recent market gains. It could also be influenced by the SAFU fund plan, which intends to invest $1 billion to acquire an additional 15,000 Bitcoin coins, as well as the move by some investors to transfer their Bitcoin for asset security reasons after the Coldcard incident. The significant increase in reserves could potentially lead to selling pressure in the market.
