2026-09-11 18:16:43
According to CoinMeta, as reported by GreeksLive, options that expired on September 11 showed that 29,000 Bitcoin options expired with a put-to-call ratio of 0.6, and the maximum strike price was $78,000, with a notional value of $2.24 billion. 114,000 Ethereum options expired with a put-to-call ratio of 1.17, and the maximum strike price was $2,450, with a notional value of $280 million. Bitcoin is currently consolidating around $80,000 and has been trading sideways for nearly three weeks after a three-day rebound at the end of last month. The monthly realized volatility remained unchanged, while the implied volatility increased slightly, and the volatility risk premium for the vast majority of expired options generally rose. Options that expired this week accounted for 7% of the total. The number of open contracts for Bitcoin and Ethereum decreased slightly compared to last week, and overall trading volume also saw a moderate decline. The maximum strike prices for call options are concentrated above $78,000, with $80,000 still being the peak, whereas put options began to concentrate around $77,000, marking the end of the previous dispersed pattern. Market sentiment is optimistic, and the current monthly implied volatility is low, making it still worthwhile to engage in directional buying.
