Independent miner successfully mined a Bitcoin block and obtained 3.147 BTC

According to CoinMeta, as reported by bitcoin and com, an independent Bitcoin miner who uses braiins and solo for mining successfully extracted a block with a height of 966,351, earning the full block subsidy and transaction fees, totaling 3.147 BTC, worth approximately $244,900. This is the first time in nearly 40 days that an independent miner has extracted a block on the Bitcoin network; the last time this occurred was on August 2nd, when a solo and ckpool miner received 3.1569 BTC.
