According to CoinMeta, data from Santiment shows that the number of open Bitcoin contracts priced at BTC decreased from 321,500 on September 3 to 278,200 on September 11, a reduction of 43,300, representing a decline of 13.5%. During the same period, the price of Bitcoin fell by about 5%, and the current market holding size is approximately 20% lower than the level before the increase in mid-August. The holding volume stopped declining on September 11 and began to recover slightly for two consecutive trading days.
