According to CoinMeta, the Nscale computing power company has submitted an application to the US securities regulatory authorities for a public offering in New York, aiming to raise up to $3 billion. The proposed stock ticker is NSCL. Nscale separated from its cryptocurrency mining business at the beginning of 2024 and has since transformed into a AI computing infrastructure service provider. As of August 2026, Nscale controls data centers with a total power capacity of over 10GW, with contract values totaling approximately $103 billion, including a $45 billion lease agreement committed by Anthropic. Nscale's clients include NVIDIA, Microsoft, and others. The company reported revenue of $140.6 million in the first half of 2023, a year-over-year increase of more than 12 times, but it also incurred a net loss of $1.02 billion. Nscale completed a Series C financing round in March, with a valuation of around $14.6 billion, and NVIDIA holds more than 5% of its shares without voting rights. Nscale plans to issue $1 billion in unsecured convertible loan notes to NVIDIA. Its Monarch facility in West Virginia is expected to begin operations in 2028 with a power capacity of 2GW, with plans to expand to about 8GW by 2031.
