According to CoinMeta, based on data submitted by the Financial Services Commission of South Korea (FSS) to the office of Park Hong-pyei, a member of the Democratic Party, the volume of virtual asset transactions in South Korea has decreased by more than 50% over the past year. The top 10% of users contributed over 96% of the total transaction volume. In the first half of 2026, the transaction concentration of the top 10% users on various exchanges was as follows: Upbit 95.6%, Bithumb 97.41%, Coinone 99.2%, Digital X 99.43%, Gopax 97.61%.
