2026-09-28 16:10:50
CoinMeta data: On Monday, the combined market value of gold and silver lost approximately $1.05 trillion, with gold falling by 2.9% and silver by nearly 5%. Currently, the price of gold has dropped below $4,200, to its lowest level since early August. Market expectations for a Federal Reserve interest rate hike have risen, with CME FedWatch indicating that the probability of a hike in October is about 70%. In addition, the yield on 10-year Treasury bonds has risen to 5.20%, and the US dollar index has also reached a two-month high of 101.39, reducing the attractiveness of gold and silver.
