According to CoinMeta, Circle announced that co-founder P. Sean Neville will immediately leave the board of directors, and the Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox - Geens plans to resign by the end of 2026. Neville has served as a director since 2016 and is resigning for personal reasons, while Fox-Geens will continue to hold that position during the period of finding a successor. Circle stated that the departures of these two executives are not due to any disagreements regarding company operations, policies, or practices. Fox-Geens will continue to receive an annual salary of $500,000 and is eligible for the 2026 annual incentive bonus. Circle also revealed that Fox-Geens's resignation agreement includes a cash payment of $1.05 million and accelerated vesting of stock units. Circle recently signed a new five-year USDC business agreement with Binance, and Binance invested $100 million.
