JPMorgan Chase: Tech stocks are expected to regain favor
2026-09-28 18:05:02
According to CoinMeta, strategists at JPMorgan Chase believe that as the level of investment congestion declines, profit performance strengthens, and valuations become more reasonable, tech stocks are expected to regain some of the upward momentum they lost since the end of the first half of the year and attract investors to reallocate their funds. A team led by Mislav Matejka wrote in a report that the stagnation in gains over the past three months has made positions clearer and stock prices more reasonable. Coupled with increased capital expenditure and continued strong profits, these factors should support investors in paying renewed attention to this sector. Since the beginning of this year, tech stocks have still led the S&P 500 index, but in recent months, the growth of tech stocks has slowed down due to concerns that massive investments in the field of artificial intelligence may not yield the returns that optimists anticipated. JPMorgan Chase stated that although it is unlikely for the gains seen in the first half of the year to be repeated, opportunities still exist. Matejka noted that the renewed interest in tech stocks should boost the South Korean stock market and, indirectly, the stock markets of emerging markets as well.
