According to CoinMeta, Nvidia has launched a new AI security platform aimed at monitoring autonomous agents and isolating them within milliseconds if they exceed approved boundaries. The platform combines software control with an independent hardware monitoring layer, enabling rapid isolation when agents attempt to go beyond their permitted environment. Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, stated that as agent capabilities improve, security measures at the model level alone may no longer be sufficient. The launch of this platform has raised widespread doubts about whether autonomous AI systems could ultimately escape human control. More than 100 organizations are involved in this project, including Anthropic, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Hugging Face, Cisco, JPMorgan Chase, Palantir, Salesforce, and SAP, among others.
