According to CoinMeta, Dyorswap users were deceived over the weekend by scammers, who sent a total of 767 ETH to fake bridge contracts, resulting in losses of approximately 2 million US dollars. Over 1,000 users, eager to participate in the new blockchain, ended up sending their funds to these fake bridge contracts, which were then withdrawn by the scammers and transferred to Tornado Cash. After confirming the fake blockchain, Dyorswap stated that what was previously identified as the so-called Giwa mainnet was actually a fake chain set up by the scammers. The platform has promised to offer a 40% refund to users with balances of less than 5 ETH, while cases involving amounts exceeding this will be considered on an individual basis.
