According to CoinMeta, Binance announced that it will suspend token deposits and withdrawals from the Coinbase L2 network at 17:00 on September 30, 2026 ( UTC ) to support the upcoming network upgrade and hard fork. This upgrade will improve the standards of the B20 tokens and introduce valid transactions and dynamic node upgrades. The network upgrade is expected to take place at 18:00 on the same day ( UTC ). Binance stated that token transactions will not be affected, and deposits and withdrawals will be reopened after the network stabilizes following the suspension.
