US Housing Sales Market: Nearly Half of Sellers Offer Incentives Up to $20,000
2026-09-29 00:58:19
According to CoinMeta, recent data shows that nearly half of U.S. home sellers are offering incentives to promote sales, including concessions of up to $20,000 and fully paid cruise trips. According to the latest report from Redfin, 44.7% of U.S. home sales in August included concessions, which is a 2.1 percentage point increase from the same period last year and represents the highest level since at least 2020. With the continuation of a buyer's market, sellers have to be creative in their incentives to sell, leading to concession rates at their highest levels in recent years.
