According to CoinMeta, Russian President Putin signed a presidential decree on September 28th, extending the implementation period of the natural gas trade ruble settlement requirement from the original date of October 1, 2026, to April 1, 2027. Under this settlement order, foreign buyers are required to deposit rubles into the Russian suppliers' bank accounts in Russia in order to complete the payment.
