The statement also stated that the Shin Bet had formally filed a complaint with the Israeli military censorship authorities, requesting legal action against Channel 12, an Israeli television network, on the grounds that the media had "revealed in advance" Netanyahu's trip to the UAE, posing a substantial risk to his safety. This "leakage incident" was assessed as a "serious threat to the safety of the Prime Minister and his entourage."
