This committee is affiliated with Fairshake, which is primarily supported by Coinbase, Ripple, among others. The expenditure is part of the initial $30 million that Fairshake announced earlier for election efforts in Ohio. Brown formerly served as the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee and has previously opposed various legislations and policies that support the crypto industry.
