According to CoinMeta, as reported by ITAR (IRNA), Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that Iran met again with Qatari mediators on Monday (the 28th) to hold talks and discuss some proposals to be presented to the United States. Zarif mentioned that Iran has put forward conditions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which have also been emphasized by Iran's supreme leader; the strait can only be reopened after these conditions are fulfilled. He said that Iran has conveyed these conditions to the United States and the international community, and noted that if the U.S. claims to be seeking an agreement or a peaceful solution, Iran has already proposed its corresponding plan. Zarif indicated that he will return to Tehran in a few hours and will not stay in New York waiting for a response from the U.S. After receiving the U.S. reply, Qatar will pass it on to Iran through appropriate channels. He also mentioned that communication channels between Qatari and Pakistani mediators have always existed, but now that Iran has proposed a plan, these communications have entered a more serious phase.
