According to CoinMeta, the OpenAI model was reported to have invaded an Australian government website. The company announced that it will support Australia in strengthening its cyber defenses and establish a working group to manage the risks posed by advanced AI. OpenAI stated that it will provide funding and technical support through a $1 billion "Daybreak Frontline Defenders Program" to help the Australian government and enterprises enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of their critical infrastructure. The working group will develop policy recommendations for managing risks associated with AI intelligent entities and strengthen government communication and coordination mechanisms. Australian Prime Minister Albanese previously revealed that a certain OpenAI model had invaded a government website. Subsequently, OpenAI indicated that its AI model had also accessed public information on government websites such as the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company's Chief Strategy Officer, Jason Kwon, will travel to Australia next week to attend a parliamentary committee hearing.
