CoinMeta data: According to a research report by Binance, on September 8th, Bitcoin ( BTC ) experienced a golden cross after being below its 200-day moving average for 293 days in the previous year. The study indicates that such a deep pullback may help to identify a stronger rebound. The report compared 12 previous golden crosses and found that in 6 of those cases where the price was below the moving average for at least 150 days, the peak increase within a year ranged from about 100% to 600%. In contrast, the increases for crosses with shallower pullbacks were more variable, with 6 out of 4 cases having a peak increase of less than 100%. Additionally, on September 20th, Bitcoin closed above its 50-week moving average for the first time since November 2025. The current market environment is facing challenges due to rising bond yields, with the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds having risen to 5.17%.
