According to CoinMeta, robotics startup Microagi has recently hired robotics professor Animesh Garg from the Georgia Institute of Technology to serve as its Chief Research Officer. The company has raised $55 million and plans to deploy 10 million robots to customers within the next five years. With the rise of physical AI, an increasing number of robotics experts are founding and joining startups. Garg indicates that robotics technology is rapidly transitioning from laboratory demonstrations to large-scale commercial deployment.
