According to CoinMeta, as reported by Bloomberg, several Bitcoin-related businesses involving Adam Back, one of the early Bitcoin cryptographers and co-founders of Blockstream, are recently facing pressures. The Liquid Network initiative launched by Blockstream previously encountered a security incident costing about $320 million, with approximately 4,000 BTC being transferred out. The attackers later returned 3,400 BTC, while still retaining BTC worth about $47 million. Meanwhile, BSTR, a Bitcoin treasury company led by Back who also serves as CEO and co-founder, has terminated its business merger with Cantor Equity Partners I. The Bitcoin mining business split off from Blockstream is now cooperating with Exacore. Furthermore, Exacore has recently been involved in several legal disputes regarding equipment procurement, contractor payments, and electricity bills. Bloomberg pointed out that Back plays different roles in the aforementioned projects, and Blockstream also stated that it has no operational participation, association, equity, or contractual relationship with Exacore.
