House Speaker Mike Johnson will also be present. This meeting takes place as Washington deliberates on how to balance the rapid development of artificial intelligence with concerns regarding security, cybersecurity, and national security. Trump opposes slowing down the advancement of artificial intelligence, believing that the United States needs to maintain its technological leadership. Amodei recently met with Trump to discuss security issues. The White House gathering is held amidst debates about the pace of advancements in cutting-edge artificial intelligence and necessary security measures. The Trump administration will also launch an artificial intelligence-driven government portal aimed at integrating federal information and services.
