Fed's Musalem: Supply shocks will exacerbate inflation risks

According to CoinMeta, Federal Reserve official Musalem has recently made a series of statements pointing out that when one supply shock follows another, the logic of "temporarily ignoring the impact of supply shocks" weakens, and it increases the risk that inflation will become more entrenched on a broader scale. He also mentioned that currently, about half of inflation is due to persistent demand pressures.
