According to CoinMeta, Anthropic reports that in 2025, 47% of its sales were generated through Amazon ($AMZN) and Google ($GOOGL), with total sales amounting to approximately $2.16 billion, which represents a significant increase from 32% in 2024 and 11% in 2023. Anthropic paid about $351 million in distribution fees to these two major platforms. Other report details include: revenue based on consumption amounted to around $3.8 billion, subscription revenue was $789 million, two unnamed customers each accounted for 12% of the revenue, international revenue accounted for about one-third of the total revenue, and there were $54.6 billion in irrevocable hosting and computing commitments at the end of the year. The report also warns that reliance on a few cloud partners may lead to conflicts of interest and affect Anthropic's access to computing resources.
