According to CoinMeta, the Step Terminal STEPX Neo intelligent phone has obtained network access permission from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is reported that this device is the first large-model native intelligent phone from Step Terminal, designed specifically for intelligent agents in terms of model, system, and hardware. It made its debut at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference ( WAIC ) in 2026 and is expected to be officially launched in October.
