Japanese established textile company Bitcoin Japan completes its first BTC acquisition

According to CoinMeta, Japanese textile company Bitcoin Japan Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary BTC JPN Ltd purchased 11.9188 units of BTC on September 28 at an average price of $83,857.43, for a total amount of approximately $999,500. Bitcoin Japan was formerly known as Horita Maru Masayoshi, a traditional Japanese textile company founded in 1861, and rebranded in 2025 to focus on new businesses such as digital assets. The company stated that it plans to continue purchasing BTC in the future, with a total investment limit of 662 million yen.
