According to CoinMeta, Trezor warns that Safe 5 hardware wallets sold by Southeast Asian distributor Cryptobilis have been implanted with a hardware Trojan that can read and transmit mnemonic phrases. Trezor recommends that users who purchased these devices through this channel starting from March 2026 should migrate their assets to new wallets as soon as possible and avoid entering their existing mnemonic phrases on suspicious devices. In addition, Trezor removed Cryptobilis from the official distributor list on October 9th.
