According to CoinMeta, the founder of Gate and also associated with CEO Lin Han calls on the crypto industry to immediately establish a security alliance to unify security standards, intrusion detection protocols, and emergency response mechanisms in order to deal with security incidents similar to those encountered by Binance. Binance's recent incident resulted in losses of approximately $6.3 billion. Gate also proposes promoting a treasury solution that involves splitting keys, distributing private keys to users and Gate, and setting a 48-hour delay before funds can be transferred from the treasury after at least two parties are compromised, allowing users to freeze their funds.
