Krupka: The depreciation of the US dollar may drag down Bitcoin prices
2026-10-31 05:21:17
According to CoinMeta and 99bitcoins, Connection Capital founder Dan Krupka stated that as the disintegration of dollar-denominated transactions continues, Bitcoin may face new selling pressure. He pointed out that a stronger dollar could weaken the investment case for scarce assets such as Bitcoin and gold. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is around $77,500, while the US Dollar Index (DXY) is close to 102. Krupka emphasized that the dollar has not continued to depreciate as many investors expected; instead, it has risen in recent months. He believes that if major foreign currencies such as the euro and yen come under pressure, the dollar will continue to strengthen, putting pressure on Bitcoin and gold.
