According to CoinMeta, blockchain security company Blockaid reported that at least 12 DEFI websites were subjected to DNS attacks, with attackers using a toolkit named “step drainer”. In its initial warning, Blockaid pointed out that Flap and Kintsu were potential front-end attack targets, and subsequent warnings listed an additional 10 affected domain names. Affected teams began issuing warnings; Flap confirmed that its official website was being redirected, while Stonkfun stated that services had been restored after taking the website offline and migrating to new infrastructure. Blockaid advised users in its initial warning to avoid interacting with Flap and Kintsu until the issue was resolved. Other affected projects included Stonkfun, Pickle Finance, Echelon, Origami Finance, and Fluxbeam. Blockaid continues to investigate this incident, and the identity of the attackers or the number of victims has not yet been confirmed.
