Binance Mining Pool to Stop Services; Production of Five Listed Mining Companies Drops by Approximately 47% Year-on-Year
2026-11-01 13:28:19
According to CoinMeta, Binance announced that it would shut down its mining pools and related services. After some listed mining companies switched to AI / HPC, Bitcoin production significantly declined, with the output of five listed mining companies falling by about 47% year-on-year. Meanwhile, bitdeer's production increased by about 200% in September, but the rebound in overall network computing power intensified mining competition, reducing the revenue per unit of computing power to a low level since August. Fees income remained sluggish, and older mining machines faced cost pressures. In terms of regional policies, Russia requires mining facilities to connect to the power grid according to interruptible power supply levels; the Kazakhstan Mining Association is calling for adjustments to electricity pricing; American industry organizations are pushing for tax reforms on mining rewards; Thailand and Angola have disclosed progress in enforcing laws against illegal mining.
