Goldman Sachs raised the target price of FactSet from $236 to $237, but maintained a sell rating. Analysts said that the company's revenue and earnings in the fourth fiscal quarter exceeded expectations, but the guidance for the 2027 fiscal year was lower than Wall Street's forecasts; at the same time, as competition in MCP intensifies, corporate transaction timing brings greater volatility, and the differentiation of the early AI lead advantage weakens, the organic annual subscription value growth rate of FactSet is expected to slow down from the recent level of about 7%.

Goldman Sachs raised the target price of FactSet ( FDS ) from $236 to $237, but maintained a “sell” rating on the stock.

In a research report, this analyst told investors that the fourth-quarter performance of FactSet was mixed: revenue and profits exceeded expectations, but the performance guidance for fiscal year 2027 fell short of Wall Street's forecasts.

The institution also stated that as competition intensifies with MCP ( Model Context Protocol, the model context protocol), there are greater fluctuations at the point of enterprise-level transactions being concluded, and as the company's early lead in the AI domain diminishes, the organic annual subscription value growth rate of FactSet is expected to slow down from the recent level of around 7%.
