This car purchase scheme can also be combined with home charging installation services such as the "Full Charge to Go Kit" and the "Owner Recommendation Program." Owners who recommend friends and family to buy a car can earn reward points that can be used to exchange for supercharging mileage, vehicle accessories, and software upgrades; the recommended users can then enjoy discounts on purchasing the specified models.
Regarding the latest progress of the FSD regulatory version of the assisted driving system, Tesla stated that the company is continuously advancing the application process for the implementation of this feature in Taiwan, China. In accordance with the supplementary regulations for new technology driving systems, Tesla submitted its application documents in mid-July this year and conducted the first round of technical review meetings with scholars, experts, and relevant government departments in September. At the same time, Tesla initiated the internal software development process and began preliminary functional verification on actual roads in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Tesla stated that, in accordance with the suggestions put forward during the first round of technical review meetings, the company has further optimized the architecture of its road testing plan. In addition to covering scenarios required by regulations, the testing routes will also include a variety of traffic environments from urban to rural areas, in order to verify the adaptability of the FSD regulatory version to the local conditions of mixed traffic between motor vehicles and motorcycles, as well as the local traffic rules. Subsequently, the company will continue to protect the rights and interests of local car owners, improve the planning of testing routes and scenarios, and advance the process for the FSD regulatory version of the assisted driving system to obtain relevant regulatory approvals.
