Anthropic will invest 100 million US dollars to establish an academy for training AI talents, and will cooperate with enterprises to integrate artificial intelligence into their operations.

The investment will be used for a project named Claude Frontier Academy. On Friday, Anthropic stated in a press release that the project plans to train 10,000 "frontline deployment engineers" from its Claude Partner Network partner companies by the end of 2027.

The first batch of trainees includes engineers from Accenture, Morgan Stanley, Novo Nordisk, and several other top consulting firms. Anthropic indicates that this project stems from the cooperative experience accumulated by the company in helping enterprises deploy Claude.

Anthropic, who is in charge of partner strategy and operations, said to CNBC, "We've heard from customers and partner organizations that we need more people who combine a thorough understanding of corporate technology and business backgrounds with the highest level of proficiency in AI to solve the problems that need to be addressed."

Anthropic is currently in a phase of large-scale expansion, with companies around the world competing to integrate its AI tools into their business departments. The company is expected to list on the public market later this year and is reportedly seeking a market value of $2 trillion. Earlier this week, Reuters cited a leaked copy of the IPO prospectus, which stated that Anthropic had revenue of nearly $4.6 billion last year but incurred operating losses of over $8 billion.

The training program will begin with an intensive "simulated enterprise deployment" and assessment. Those who pass the assessment will enter a residency training phase similar to medical education. Under the guidance of instructors, software engineers will practice through case studies and undergo evaluation and certification. The first batch of engineers is expected to receive their certifications in early 2027.

The person in charge of global business development and cooperation, Anthropic, stated in the press release: "By training people in our own engineers' learning approach, Claude Frontier Academy, we hope that our graduates will be able to set standards for building AI within the companies."

At the time of this launch, the demand for the engineering capabilities of AI in multiple industries is soaring. According to exclusive data provided by Draup to CNBC, there has been a significant increase in job listings for frontline deployment engineers and other AI related positions in the financial industry this year.
