XRP created a "historic" moment by lighting up the iconic Namsan Tower in Seoul, in conjunction with the visual display of the XRP SEOUL 2026 event.

This milestone event has brought XRP to appear among one of South Korea's most iconic landmarks. As a backdrop, Namsan Tower in Seoul stands 236.7 meters tall, which is approximately 777 feet, and it is recognized by the city of Seoul as one of its representative landmarks.

XRP's presence in Seoul is no longer limited to conference venues alone. Images shared by the XRP SEOUL 2026 account show that the logos of XRP SEOUL, XRP, and K-Weather appear on the skyline of Seoul.

Nanshan Tower also brought the XRP ecosystem to the Seoul skyline by showcasing participants including Doppler Finance and Evernorth.

According to the account XRP SEOUL from 2026, the Nanshan Tower was lit up on the evening of the event to celebrate what the organizers referred to as a "record-breaking day" for the Korean XRP community. This display was part of the overall celebration activities of XRP SEOUL for 2026 and will continue until 11 p.m. Korean time.

Reports indicate that the XRP Seoul event attracted over 5,000 participants from the Korean XRP community, highlighting the growing vitality in Asia surrounding the XRP Ledger ecosystem.

Ripple launches XRP Asia

At the XRP Seoul event, the organizers also announced the next step of the XRP ecosystem in Asia: XRP Asia.

XRP Asia was co-founded by Ripple and XRP Ledger Foundation, and is led by Sabrina Tachdjian. Its focus is on strengthening connections, resources, and pathways that contribute to ecological growth.

XRP Asia is a new organization dedicated to promoting ecological development in the Asia-Pacific region, and it supports developers, startups, and communities through specialized projects, resources, and activities.

Its vision is to make XRPL the preferred blockchain for developers in Asia, and to turn that region into an important engine for the growth and adoption of the broader XRP ecosystem. The establishment of XRP Asia coincides with a time when XRPL is gaining significant momentum globally, and the demand for ecological support is continuously rising.
