However, Microsoft did not confirm whether development has already begun, nor did they confirm whether the game will be pre-installed in Windows 11 in the future.

In the podcast " Inside Windows ", a suggestion from a user on the X platform to bring back 3D pinball games was included. Darwuluri responded in the podcast, saying: "This is a very good suggestion."

IT's home translates their response as follows:

Users love games and the Windows system, while we have a very rich game library on the Windows platform, covering everything from casual games to 3A blockbusters. The Windows system has always had a good track record with pre-installed games, and we have received many suggestions regarding 3D pinball games, which we will take into consideration.

However, Darwuluri's statement did not directly respond to whether Microsoft has already begun development, nor did it confirm whether the game will be pre-installed and integrated into the Windows 11 system in the future.

"3D Pinball" was last provided with the Windows system during the Windows XP era. Microsoft previously explained that when they attempted to port Windows XP to 64-bit systems, they discovered that the marbles would pass through objects in the scene, causing compatibility issues with the game.
