Lubbock, Texas, USA, October 7, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- CoNetrix Technology announces the launch of Microsoft 365 Benchmark Management service. This is a hosting service designed to help companies maintain consistency with Center for Internet Security ( CIS ) benchmarks, and to enhance the security of their Microsoft 365 environments.

Microsoft 365 has become the core business platform for many organizations, and as such, it is also often a target of cyber threats. Improper configuration can lead to security vulnerabilities in email, file storage, authentication processes, and sensitive data. Through Microsoft 365 Benchmark Management, CoNetrix Technology conducts monthly benchmark reviews of customers' Microsoft 365 tenants and strives to address any identified configuration gaps.

As part of this service, CoNetrix Technology will perform monthly scans in accordance with the applicable CIS benchmarks. When the benchmark requirements are not met, the team will fix the issues or document compensatory control measures and business justifications. Customers will receive a detailed report outlining the compliance status of the benchmarks, the issues identified, and the progress of the fixes.

This service is designed to support organizations that operate in a Microsoft 365 environment and face constant changes, including personnel fluctuations, integration of new applications, and the adoption of technologies such as AI. It also helps organizations to continuously stay informed about newly released CIS benchmarks, as well as the relationships between these benchmarks and compliance frameworks such as FFIEC, GLBA, NIST, and SOC 2.

For financial institutions, monthly benchmark management may help to improve the Microsoft 365 Assessment results and enhance the readiness to cope with FFIEC IT inspections.

CTO Heath Bowlin stated: "The Microsoft 365 configuration is not a one-time setup that can be left unattended thereafter. Regular reviews and fortifications can help organizations reduce risks, support compliance efforts, and maintain a stronger security posture as the environment continues to evolve."
