News from the IT family on October 8th: HPE (Hewlett-Packard) released 4 new servers yesterday, based on the AMD EPYC (Xiaolong) 9006 server and CPU processor.
IT Home has learned that these models support automatic SED encryption, multi-person authorization, and have also enhanced the security of post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

HPE ProLiant DL525 Gen13, which is set to be the first to hit the market later this year, is a compact 1U single-chip system that boasts up to 256 CPU cores. It supports 16-channel memory, is compatible with standard DDR5 RDIMM and MRDIMM, and provides PCIe Gen6 connectivity. It is suitable for applications such as fraud detection, market data processing, risk and pricing, EDA, simulation, and artificial intelligence inference.
HPE ProLiant DL585a Gen13 adopts a dual-path design, supporting up to 8 double-slot PCIe GPU, which can meet the needs of workloads such as AI inference, virtualization, RAG model fine-tuning, analysis, and proxy AI.
For large-scale compute-intensive applications, HPE brings ProLiant XD245 and ProLiant XD285 that meet the OCP standards: the former is a 1OU four-node liquid-cooled solution that supports up to 8 CPU; the latter adopts a 2OU two-node air-cooled design with better compatibility with data center infrastructure.
