JULES, headquartered in Roubaix, France, and employing 2,800 staff, is seeking an alternative solution in order to gain a clearer understanding of internet usage, make filtering strategies more manageable, and enhance employees' protection against web page risks without affecting the user experience.

JULES chose the solution of Ekinops for several reasons, including its performance, ease of integration with existing information systems, convenience in migrating filtering rules, the quality of website classification, and the ability to provide clear dashboards that help to monitor usage, intercept, and manage risks more effectively. The positioning of Ekinops as a French software provider was also an important consideration, which is in line with requirements such as sovereignty, local support, compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), and trust in data management.

JULES Operations Security Manager Michael Lens stated: "With the help of the Ekinops SSE (Security Service Edge) solution, we chose a French-based approach that closely meets our requirements for security, compliance, visibility, and control across all employees and sites."

The deployment of JULES is carried out in phases, covering both the headquarters and stores. This solution is built upon multiple complementary components of the Ekinops network security product portfolio, including SWG ( Secure Web Gateway, a secure web gateway), local DNS ( Domain Name System, Domain Name System), and CASB ( Cloud Access Security Broker, Cloud Access Security Broker). The target coverage includes both headquarters usage scenarios and store environments. The Ekinops team has also supported the capacity enhancement of the JULES team, providing specialized support, regular follow-ups, and continuous optimization from the pre-sales to operational stages.

JULES now benefits from a smoother browsing experience, enhanced protection against suspicious websites, more accurate categorization, simplified management, as well as dashboards that are easier to use for IT, security, and management teams. This solution strengthens the web security for both internal employees and mobile users, while also improving visibility, access tracking capabilities, and daily control levels.

Ekinops Cybersecurity Sales Director Fr édé ric Napol é one indicates: "This project demonstrates Ekinops's capability to address the real challenges of multi-site enterprises: ensuring secure web access, simplifying daily operations, and providing operational visibility that allows for immediate action. We are proud to support JULES in advancing this initiative with a reliable French solution designed specifically to meet performance and compliance requirements."
