OKX attracted $445 million in net inflows, while Binance had a net outflow of over $7 billion

OKX led cryptocurrency exchanges with a daily net inflow of $445 million, while Binance's net outflow was approximately $7 billion.

OKX recorded a net inflow of approximately $445 million within 24 hours, which is the highest among the tracked cryptocurrency exchanges; meanwhile, after a $6.3 billion hacker attack, Binance reopened withdrawals, but there continues to be a outflow of funds.

According to the data from DefiLlama, Bybit ranked second with a net inflow of 112 million US dollars, followed by Gate with 91 million US dollars and Bitget with 54 million US dollars. All of these figures represent 24-hour net inflows.

Among the tracked exchanges, Binance recorded the largest net outflow, exceeding $7 billion, which is higher than the $5.8 billion earlier on Monday. Binance stated that it began to gradually resume withdrawals at 6:00 UTC on Sunday.

As of the time of publication, according to the wallet data tracked by DefiLlama, Binance holds approximately $127.9 billion in assets, which is more than four times the size of OKX; OKX ranks second with $29 billion.

On Friday, Binance suspended withdrawals following a hacker attack worth $6.3 billion that occurred in the late hours of Thursday, which is considered the largest hacker incident in the history of cryptocurrencies.

By Sunday, Binance stated that it had replenished approximately 95% of the affected assets, which is higher than the 90% reported on Saturday. The remaining 5% consists of tokens with lower liquidity, and Binance continues to buy them through market trading and over-the-counter transactions.

The exchange is using the company's treasury, a portion of the users' security asset funds ( SAFU ), and some futures insurance funds to recover the stolen assets. Binance promises to bear the losses itself and will not pass them on to customers.

Approximately $3 billion in stolen assets that have been frozen were assisted in being frozen by industry partners, and this portion is independent of the funds used by Binance to replenish its assets. Binance stated on Sunday that it had released a new snapshot of its reserves and expected to publish an updated reserve certification report on Monday.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows that on Monday, OKX NT dollars OKB rose by about 1.4% in the past 24 hours, with the trading price approaching $113; during the same period, BNB rose by 0.3% to around $708.

After Binance's record $6.3 billion hacker attack, RUNE of THORChain rose by 13%
