According to the third-quarter financial report released on Friday, Bitcoin reserve company Strive purchased 15,124 Bitcoins (BTC) in October, bringing its cumulative purchases in the first 10 months of 2026 to 35,497 Bitcoins (BTC). This purchase also brings the company one step closer to the top of the corporate Bitcoin reserve rankings.
Strive reports that as of October 30th, the company held 43,124 BTC. According to the data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET, this makes it the fourth-largest listed Bitcoin holder in the world. The company is only 390 BTC behind the third-ranked Twenty One Capital; if neither company increases their holdings further, Strive would need to acquire an additional 877 BTC to surpass Metaplanet, which holds 44,000 BTC and is ranked second.
The continuous increase in holdings by Strive echoes the statement made by CEO Matt Cole in an interview in September. At that time, he indicated that the company might become the second-largest holder of Bitcoin among listed companies globally by the end of the year, but he also acknowledged that this was not his baseline scenario.

In addition, Strive also raised approximately $609 million in net proceeds in October by issuing SATS perpetual preferred stocks, which have an annual dividend yield of 15%. The company has not yet stated how much of this funds will be used to purchase Bitcoin.
Strive reported a net profit of $509 million for the third quarter, mainly benefiting from unrealized gains of $533.7 million from Bitcoin.
Strive focuses on banks, while DeFi focuses on expansion.
According to the financial report, Strive is still evaluating opportunities in banking, brokerage services, decentralized finance, reinsurance, and tokenization as part of its broader balance sheet utilization strategy. However, the company has not disclosed any specific plans or timelines, and did not respond to Cointelegraph's request for comments on more details before this report was published.
